#AskZBrush: How can I bridge two objects together and keep their existing UV's and Topology?
Apparently Pixologic has revamped the way ZModeler> Edge>Bridge>Two holes works so that it now seems to run a low level remeshing operation. Im testing the new subd command and stuck in brigde 2 Subd-Objects with different edge count. How could i merge these two objects without. 1. Make the area thicker. 2. Use sculptris pro mode and inflate. 3. Zremesh, and manually deleting the faces around it, and bridge.

The highly expensive tools you mention had these capabilities on Nurbs geometry for many years long before one finally made them available inside a hybrid Nurbs-SubD workspace. But hey even if I was wrong and such solvers would come tomorrow I think it made sense to first teach some SubD-basics, to those who are about to get their feet wet with a new modeling paradigm. I think what makes sense here is that BlendSrf works with history and SubD edge loops as input. Right now Rhino can not even maintain upright continuity-conditions between a set of surfaces while manipulating them. I can likely resolve this with a combo of setting it to 1 and making the model bigger, but the option to get rid of it entirely would be really helpful.
